New Covid-19 restrictions and consequences for floorball

As you must have all heard during yesterday’s press conference, the progression of COVID-19 does not look good and extra measures have to be taken to take back control. The communicated measures have an impact on floorball, therefore we want to inform you about the consequences for us all.

Youth (below 18 yo)

It is allowed for children until 18 years old to continue with trainings. However, the competition is currently on hold to prevent the number of social contacts. Additionally, showers and dressing rooms will be closed. For our mini Agents this means that trainings will take place as they usually do, however do keep in mind that parents shouldn’t stick around before, during or after trainings. And whenever you do have (even mild) complaints, don’t come to training.

Adults (above 18 yo)

For adults it’s not allowed to play a teamsport anymore, as it’s impossible to keep distance. Therefore, both trainings and games are on hold until further notice of the government. Keep an eye on our website and playerlineup for the status of trainings. Please also note that the general rules hold that we can’t play sports with more than 4 people (inside or outside) and should always maintain a distance of 1.5 meter. This unfortunately also cuts out outside floorball as well.

We will inform you when there are relevant changes to the policy through email, WhatsApp and our website.

For now, stay safe and we hope to see you soon.

Best,

The Board
